There are many misconceptions here in Albania about venomous snakes or all kinds of snakes in general.People think that snakes want to bite people without reason but this is not true at all.By my experience snakes like many other wild animals fear the presence of humans and avoid the contact with them trying to hide in the nearest refuge and most of the accidents happens because people step on them without seeing the snake or little children touch them with hands and that might be fatal.Every time i see any viper they try to hide or make threatening noises to keep you away and they bite you when they have no other choice.So i am asking you not to kill this beautiful creatures because they are no harm if you leave them alone,just walk away that's the best thing you can do.Three days after i saw this viper i was looking to find snakes in another area and i never imagined i would see something spectacular,a bear...!! Too bad i didn't had time to take any shot cos he ran away ve! ry fast.Just another proof that animals fear us,so we must be kind to them if we don't want them to disappear.
